âď¸ Called to (CHANT) the Torah: Yes, you CAN! đđ
Â
Over the years, Iâve noticed a recurring and painful gap among adult Jews â particularly women and Jews beyond the binary â who feel deeply called to chant Torah but have no clear entry point.
Â
They ask questions like:
- âWhere would I even learn this?â
- âIs it too late for me?â
- âDo I have to already be âgood at Hebrewâ or musical?â
- âI want to chant⌠but I donât know whatâs possible in my community.â
These are thoughtful, motivated adults â parents, grandparents, spiritual seekers, educators â who want to show up fully in Jewish ritual life, but are missing a map.
Thatâs what this workshop is designed to offer.
Â
This workshop is for ADULTS, not b Mitzvah students.Â
Â
While it is especially centered on women and Jews beyond the binary, any Jewish adult is welcome.
Â
It is intentionally designed for absolute beginners, including:
- Adults with a casual, passing curiosity
- Adults with a clear goal (e.g. chanting at a child or grandchildâs b mitzvah, an aliyah, or a specific communal moment)
- Adults who feel Jewishly interested and ready but educationally underprepared
No Hebrew fluency required. No prior chanting experience. No pressure.
Â
What Participants Will Receive

In storytelling terms:

Chanting Torah is the challenge.
This webinar is the map.
